Beverly Joan Johnson went to be with the Lord on Sept. 4, 2010 after an extended battle with cancer. Beverly was born Oct. 27, 1942 in Davenport Iowa, graduated from Columbus High 1960. Beverly moved to Harbor City, Calif. in 1962 to pursue an opportunity to own and operate Burger Bills Drive-in, which she and her husband were very successful. Beverly continued her education by attending Harbor College and obtained her finance degree at Calif. State Univ., Long Beach. Beverly's career in the aerospace industry was fulfilling, she was a hard working dedicated employee who earned widespread respect among her colleagues and associates throughout her working career until her retirement.

Beverly is survived by her children Ronald J. Alva Jr. (Atchinson, KS) and Debra (Alva) Reutzel (Murrieta, Ca.), sister Audrey (Johnson) Garrett (Show Low, AZ.) along with many beloved extended family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, friends and acquaintances and of course her puppy, Casper. Beverly is forever in our hearts and thoughts as we continue each day knowing she is here with us in spirit. No services are planned, although there will be a gathering at her request for family and friends in Show Low, Arizona, date to be determined.
