Jason Danielson, 36, of Platteville, WI, and formerly of Columbus Junction, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 13, 2010 in Platteville.

Funeral services were Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Pastors Larry Brown and David Barna officiated. Burial was in the Conesville Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday, December 17th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Jason’s name. Jason Aron Michael Danielson was born January 6, 1974 in Iowa City, the son of Monte “Pete” Danielson and Sandra (Diveney) Brown. Jason graduated from Columbus Community High School in 1992. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, being outdoors, being with his family, and especially he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved giving them rides on his wheelchair. Jason attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Platteville, and he was an avid fan of the Yankees, the Steelers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. He cared so much for his friends, family and nurses, and he loved life.

Jason will be dearly missed by his mother, Sandy Brown and her husband, Scott of Columbus Junction; his father, Monte “Pete” Danielson and his wife, Cindy of West Branch; brothers and sisters, Jeff Danielson and companion, Linda Holderness of Iowa City, Lorie Wade and husband, Mike of Muscatine, Troy Danielson of Columbus Junction and Travis Danielson and wife, Rayna of Muscatine; step-brothers, Bryan Hearn and Billy Hartwig, both of West Branch; five nieces and nephews, Ashley, Brittany, TJ, Bryce and Kenadi; nine step-nieces and nephews, Chad, Dan, Melissa, Lindsey, Tyler, Aaliyah, Tao, Jamie and LeeAnn; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jason was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, two aunts and two uncles.
