Marshall Alden Davis, 96, of Littleton, CO, died at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Court at Denver in Denver, CO.

Born May 19, 1914, in Des Moines County, IA, he was the son of Lewis and Inez Charbonneau Davis. On August 2, 1934, he married Loraine Belle Batley. She died April 10, 1999.

Marshall was an Ironworker. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during the World War II with his six brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, Claudette Bausch of Golden, CO, Linda Oswald and Charla Berry both of Littleton, CO; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Davis of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters, Lily Mae Hillson of San Antonio, TX, Lee Meacham of Lady of the Lakes, FL, and Clarissa Hester of Chagrin Falls, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife he was preceded in death by one daughter, Marilyn Littler, five brothers, Oscar, Ivan, Sheldon, George, Marvel, and one sister, Phila Dochterman.

The Graveside Committal Service and Interment for Mr. Davis was at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2010, at the Columbus City Cemetery with Jeff Thayer officiating.

The Hass-Thielen Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
