Bernadine Dorothy Hawkins, 90, of Sherman, Texas formerly of Decatur, passed away on
Monday,February 1, 2010 in Sherman, Texas.

Services were held on February 5, 2010 at the chapel of Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home
with Interment at Graceland Cemetery.

Bernadine was born October 9, 1919 in Decatur the daughter of Russell and Pearl (Booker)
Overly. She married Jack K. Hawkins May 21 1939 in Decatur. She was a devoted wife and
homemaker; Jack and Bernadine owned and operated Hawkins Variety Store in Columbus Junction and Wapello Iowa. Jack proceeded her in death January 9.2008.

She leaves behind her sister; Evelyn Hiser of Forsyth, niece; Susie Forbes of Forsyth, cousins; Deanna Miller and Heston Booker of California and brother I law; Guy Hawkins and family of Sherman, Texas.
