Harry Jacob Kammerer 1875-1917

Harry Jacob Kammerer was born Aug. 22, 1875, in Port Louisa and died Feb. 13, 1917, aged 41 years, 3 months and 21 days. He was the son of John and Caroline Kammerer, his mother preceding him in death 31 years ago. Besides his aged father he leaves one sister, Mollie Beik, and four brothers, John and Bert of Muscatine, and Chas. and Aut. at home.

In 1902 he was united in marriage to Margaret Weese, of Port Louisa, who with four children, William, Iona, Gertrude and Louis, are also left to mourn his death.

Funeral services were held from the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank Beik yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Jesse Huddle and assisted by Rev. J.E. Barbour. Interment in Port Louisa cemetery.
