Mrs. Amy Eliza McCulley passed away at her home in Winterset, Iowa, January 23, 1918. She was born in East Tennessee, December 7, 1831, and was 81 years, 1 month, and 16 days of age at the time of her death. Deceased moved with her folks to Lee county in 1840. She was united in marriage to David McCulley, May 3, 1853, who passed away May 17, 1881. To this union were born nine children, three of whom survive: David Carson, Cora and Eva. Mrs. McCulley united with Seceder church in childhood and remained a faithful member until the time of her death.

The remains were brought to this place Friday morning and taken to the Harrison curch, where funeral services were held at 10 o'clock conducted by Rev. W. R. Coventry. Burial was in the Harrison cemetery.
