Freddie Lee Noble, 54, of New London, formerly of Burlington, died Monday Oct. 2, 2000 at Great River Medical Center.

Born Sept. 30, 1946, in Burlington, he was the son of Donald R. and Mildred M. Perkins Noble. He married Connie Lynn Jester October 26, 1995 in Oquawka, Ill.

He was a 1965 graduate of Wapello High School. Mr. Noble worked at General Electric in West Burlington for the past 25 years. He was a member of the 7th Infantry Gun Club. He especialoy enjoyed his family, gardening and working in the timber.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Nicholas Noble of Burlington; two granddaughters; his mother of Morning Sun; and one brother, Donald C. Noble of Columbus Junction.

He was preceded in death by his father and one son.

Friends may call after noon today with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Dudgeon-McCully Funeral Home.

The funeral for Mr. Noble will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at trthe Dudgeon-McCully Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Wapello Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the New London Emergency Responders.
