Mrs. Grant Brown, formerly Miss Jessie Viola Lee, 25 years old, one of Letts' best known and popular young women, was buried this morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. T. F. Barker officiating. The funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church. She died at her home in Letts Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
Mrs. Brown was born near Letts on September 6, 1888. She was a graduate of the Letts high school and was a faithful member of the M.E. Sunday school. She was also a member of the Rebekah lodge. On December 24, 1905, she was united in marriage with Grant Brown, who preceded her in death February 28, 1913. Her father and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eisenhart, also survive.
The choir, composed of Mrs. R. Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Parsons and L.U. Gipple, sang at the funeral. Miss Amy Paine presided at the organ. The pall bearers were Clarence Fitzsimmons, Will Cline, Bert Coder, Chester Snyder, Max and Floyd Lieberknecht.
