Ray D. Springsteen, of Cannon Beach, Oregon, died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 1995 in Cannon Beach.

Born October 17, 1941 in Burlington, he was the son of Frank H. Springsteen and Katherine L. Miller. He married Katie Holt.

Mr. Springsteen was a meat cutter at the locker in Wapello. He was a buyer for Jimmy Dean. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and the Mountain Man Organization.

Survivors include his wife, of Cannon Beach; a son, Timothy Springsteen of Middletown, Iowa; three daughters, Jennifer Warth of Middletown, Trudy Johnson of Hannibal, MO, and Christine Evans of Burlington; one sister, Mary Ann Mosonholder of Columbus Junction; one stepson, Steven Holt of Spokan, Wash; one stepdaughter, Nikki Richardson of Dubois, Idaho; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents. His body has been cremated.
