Funeral services for 39 year old Marie A. Coblentz of Wapello, IA were held on Thursday, October 19, 1995, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fredonia Independent Full gospel Church, Fredonia. Services under the direction of the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, IA. Visitation was held on Wednesday, at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. Marie died on Sunday, October 16, 1995 while in Dallas, TX. A memorial has been established at the funeral home for expenses. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery, Wapello.

Marie Arlene Coblentz was born April 28, 1956 in Washington, IA to Harley and Barbara Gingerich Coblentz. Marie was a member of the Fredonia Independent Full Gospel Church, the Children's Church Director and the Coordinator of the Ladies Stewardship. Marie was the cook for the Old Time Campmeeting at the church.

Marie is survived by two sisters, Ms. Fannie Coblentz and Ms. Ruby Coblentz both of Kalona. Three brothers, Daniel and Elijah both of Kalona and Joseph, Cambria, WI. Marie has five nieces and five nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews. Marie is also survived by her church family. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Dwight.
