Suicide Stuns Junction.

A 22 year-old man who was apparently fired from his job at IBP Inc. Saturday committed suicide Monday Morning at the Commercial Hotel Here.

George Deahr, a 1984 graduate of West Liberty High School, died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. No foul play was suspected, according to Columbus Junction police reports.

Deahr was pronounced dead at 3 p.m. by Dr. Robert Carleton, Morning Sun, Louisa County Medical Examiner. Deahr is the son of Lloyd and Louise Deahr, Route 1, West Liberty.

A statement from the police department said he was fired from his job at the IBP pork processing plant here Saturday.
