Dorothy V. Hansen 68, 1558 Washington St., died this morning, June 6, 1985, at Muscatine General Hospital.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home.The Rev. Donald Loots, of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Pallbearers are, Todd Schneider, Mark Hagy, Kevin Schneider, Jerry Mills, Ron Linz and Joe Holcomb. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hansen was born Sept. 27, 1916, at Nichols, a daughter of Charles and Maude Smith Mills. She was a life resident of the area. On Oct 3, 1939, she married Wallace E. Hansen, at Muscatine. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Ladies of the Moose. she had retired from Muscatine General Hospital in 1976 after 20 years of employment there.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Kintzel and Mrs. Ron (Linda) Frieden, both of Muscatine; two brothers, Ben Mills, Muscatine; and Don Mills, Nichols; one sister, Bessie Lenz, Lone Tree; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in January.
