Mrs. Edgar (Cecelia) Harl, 68, Grandview, died Monday afternoon at the Burlington Medical Center.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Westcot will officiate. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 this evening and Wednesday until service time.
Cecelia Harl was born June 5, 1911, in Louisa County, the daughter of William and Blanche Stineman Thompson. She was a life resident of Grandview community.
Her marriage to Edgar Harl took place Sept. 28, 1945, in Burlington.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Kenneth Walsinger of Fort Madison; three step-sons, Basil Harl of Waukegan, Ill., Winston Harl of Letts and Douglas Harl of Bishop, Texas; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Leota) Schaper of Columbus Junction; three grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Thompson and Reuben Thompson, both of Muscatine; and one sister, Mrs. Willard (Edith) Martin of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
