Phillip Snyder was born February 11th, 1852 in Louisa county, Iowa, and departed this life September 28th, at the home of his brother Daniel. About five years ago he was converted and united with the Evangelical church, which he helped to support through-out the remainder of his life. He leaves to mourn his departure one sister, Mrs. Jno. Wagner, of Richmond, Kans., and four brothers, Daniel and George, of Grandview, John of Letts, and Reuben of Des Moines. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Evangelical church, Rev. Boozer conducting the servies. The remains were interred in the Grandview cemetery.
