She was united in marriage to Wm. F. Nelson, to which union five children were born: Mollie, Ruth and Bert, residing at home; Mrs. Charles Cocklin of near Grandview, and Charles, who is now on his way home from the Phillippines, where he has been in the U.S. army. Besides the husband and children, she is survived by two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Mollie Jeffries, of Muscatine; Mrs. Anna Derby, of Wapello, and Jacob Benz of Grandview. One brother and one sister have preceded her in death.

She was a woman of strong character, an earnest Christian whose helpful influences will be sorely missed, and an untiring worker in the home.

The funeral services were conducted at Grandview
by Rev. Miller of the Evangelical ..... (incomplete)
