Donald George Storey, 67, of Columbus Junction, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 1992, at his home.

Born November 29, 1924, in Columbus Junction, he was the son of Relvie and Mabel Reynolds Story. He married Catherine Fullerton June 2, 1946, in Columbus City.

He was a World War II Navy veteran, was a 50-year member of the United Methodist Church of Columbus Junction, and a member of the Allen Wright Hanft Post No. 100 of the American Legion, the V.F.W., The Columbus City Masonic Lodge No. 107 A.F. & A.M., the Kaaba Shrine and the Davenport Consistory.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pam Cherney of Bena, Minn., and Jan Wagner of Columbus Junction; a son, Jeff Storey of Columbus Junction; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and a Masonic service held at 7:30 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction.

The funeral for Mr. Story will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Columbus Junction. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery.
