Benjamin Jacob Asher, infant son of Aarren and Michelle (Murray) Asher, was still born Sunday, April 28, 1996 at the Burlington Medical Center.

He is survived by his parents of Morning Sun; 1 brother David and 1 sister Emma, both at home; maternal grandparents, Shirley Murray of Morning Sun and Richard Murray, Galesburg, Illinois; paternal grandparents Eddie and Judy Asher of Wapello; great-grandparents Verna Garnoe and Norma Asher, both of Wapello, Richard and Flossie Murray and Virginia McKee, all of Morning Sun; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 1, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. at the Morning Sun United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chris Ebbers officiating. Interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun. There was no visitation.

A general momorial has been established.

Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Morning Sun was in charge of arrangements.
