Loraine Belle Davis, age 82, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Columbus Junction, Iowa, died April 10, 1999, at the Swedish Hospital, Littleton, CO.

Loraine Belle Batley was born June 29, 1916, in Warsaw, IL. the daughter of Ernest and Clara (Moesch) Batley. She married Marshall A. Davis, August 2, 1934, in Keokuk, Iowa. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, collecting and spending time with her loved ones.

Survivors include her husband; her children: Mrs. Claudette Bausch and her husband, Ronald, Golden, CO; Mrs. Marilyn Littler and her husband, Al, Billings, Montana; Linda Oswald, Littleton, CO; and Charla Davis, Littleton, CO. There are thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Margaret "Peg" McConahay, of Wapello.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside funeral services were held this morning at the Columbus City Cemetery. The Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home handled local arrangements. A memorial has been established at the funeral home.
