WAPELLO, Iowa - Services for Lillian Elma Stuart, 93, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello. Burial will be in Wapello Cemetery.

Visitation is 7-8 p.m. today.

Mrs. Stuart died Sunday at Burlington Medical Center.

She worked as a telephone operator in Wapello. She and her husband, Elmer, owned and operated the West End Grocery and Wapello Hatchery for many years.

Lillian Vollmer married Elmer Marshall in 1918 in Wapello. He died in 1950. She married Allen Stuart in 1953 in Washington. He died in 1963.

Memorials may be made to Wapello Rescue Unit.

Survivors include sons, Keith and Billie George Marshall, both of Wapello; and Robert Marshall, Winlock Wash.; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Zella Stout,
Burlington.
