Keith Elmer Marshall, 72, of Wapello died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1992, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born July 2, 1920, at Wapello, he was the son of Elmer and Lillian Vollmer Marshall.

Mr. Marshall was a graduate of Wapello High School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a hotel employee for many years and retired after working for the Sheraton and Hilton hotel chains.

Survivors include two brothers, Robert Marshall of Winlock, Wash., and Billy Marshall of Wapello.

He was preceded in deeath by his parents, a sister and a brother.

Friends called as desired at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello.

A graveside service with military rites by the VFW for Mr. Marshall was at 10 a.m. Monday in Wapello Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Philgreen officiating. Honaorary casketbearers were Bill Marshall Jr., Donald Hollingsworth, Dave Foor, Fred Brown, Dean Samuels and Chuck Kronfeldt. Arrangements by Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
