MORNING SUN - Harold R. Jarvis, 76, a former resident of Morning Sun, died Nov. 23 in Gorin, Mo. He was born July 6, 1909, in Morning Sun, to Sam and Sophia Casten Jarvis.

A lifelong bachelor, Mr. Jarvis was a Presbyterian. He was employed in farm work.

Surviving: Two sisters, Elda Stegemeyer, Los Angeles, Calif., and Edith Schrimpsher, of Rockford, Ill.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, Pierce Funeral Home; Rev. Diane Bishop; Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun.
