DAVENPORT - Services for Robert A. Wince,71, of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Blue Grass (Iowa) Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Wince died Thursday Aug. 1, 1996, at Genesis Medical Center - East Campus, Davenport.

He retired in 1986 after 34 years at Alcoa, Davenport Works.

He was born March 10, 1925, in rural Columbus Junction, Iowa. He married Dorothy Wulf in 1950 in Muscatine, Iowa.

During World War II, he served in the Navy.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Davenport, or to the Wisely Foster Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8865.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Duane, Cedar Falls; and a sister, Lucille Swails, Iowa City.
