MORNING SUN - Glen B. Jarvis, 74, died at his home near Morning Sun Saturday, June 5.

He was born Mar. 31, 1887 in Louisa County, the son of Zed H. and Maud Nichols Jarvis. He married Esther C. Kremer on Nov. 12, 1919 at Burlington. He was a farmer, a member of the United Methodist church of Morning Sun and Zerah Lodge AF & AM.

Surviving: his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Maurine Schmeiser, Wapello; three grandsons, two sisters, Mrs. Cora Timmons, California and Mrs. Geneva Pushman, Chicago Ill.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist church in Morning Sun, Rev. Frank Greenwood; Elmwood cemetery.
