STRONGHURST, Ill. - Dorothy G. Fort, 84, was found dead early Friday morning in her garage, apparently having suffered accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.

She was born Aprl 30, 1901, near Burlington, to Charles and Henrietta Holstien Foster. She married Charles E. Fort April 2, 1925, in Burlington. He died in 1981.

She worked as a registered nurse before marriage.

Mrs. Fort was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Stronghust.

Surviving: One son, Edward, Naperville, Ill.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Leonore Foster, Burlington, Mary Wiederrecht, Mt. Pleasant, and Estelle Wiederrecht, Anaheim, Calif.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Banks and Beals Funeral Home, Stronghurst, the Reverend Ernest Peterson; Stronghurst Cemetery. A memorial has been extablished to the Stonghurst Ambulance Service.
