Ralph S. Hall
Ralph S. Hall, age 90, Morning Sun, died Sunday evening, July 17, at the Morning Sun Care Center. He was born September 10, 1897 at Columbus Junction, Iowa, the son of Jasper and Mina Pretz Hall. He married Ruth Marie McKeever September 11, 1924 at Columbus Junction, Iowa. She preceded him in death on September 10, 1952.
Mr. Hall farmed most of this life and also was a carpenter. He was of the Methodist faith.
The funeral service for Ralph Hall was held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Morning Sun, Iowa with the Rev. Tom Zeleny officiating. Geneva Samuels was organist. Casket bearers were Gary Wixom, Kevin Hall, Frank Springsteen, Dave Heater, Clinton Hall and Sam Richenberger, Flower attendants were Jill Heater and Brenda Springsteen.
The family met with friends Tuesday evening at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home. A Memorial Fund has been established.
Ralph Hall is survived by a daughter, Letha Gott, Morning Sun; three sons, Leland and Verle both of Morning Sun and Donald of Wapello; Six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and one sister, Carrie Bergen, Banning, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Harry, and one sister Laura.
