Columbus Junction- Services were held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Columbus City Methodist church for Harry E. Hall, 59, of Letts who died at 11:55 A.M. Saturday at Bellevue hospital follwoing an extended illness. The Rev. Walter Vannder Linden, pastor of the Dixie Free Methodist church officiated. Burial was in the Columbus City cemetery.
The son of Jasper and Minnie Pretz Hall, he was born April 20, 1896 on a farm near Columbus City and was a life resident of Louisa county. His marriage to Stella Boulton took place March 20, 1917.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Dunahoo,Columbus City, and Mrs. Vernon Sissel, Nichols; one brother Ralph Hall, Morning Sun; one half brother Edward Pfeiffer, Waterloo, two sisters, Mrs. Harry Honts, Morning Sun and Mrs. Priscella Gabriel, Columbus City, seven grandchildren and a number of neices and nephews.
Three children and two grand children preceded him in death
