Richard Heither, 60, a resident of Wetumpka, AL, died at his home on Saturday, April 28, 2007. A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Union Springs, AL, with Rev. Bruce Hose officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Gandra Heither; four daughters and sons-in-law. Kelli and Lee Acton of Birmingham, AL, Lisa and James Hyde of Caryville, FL, Tracy and Terry McClellan of Decatur, AL, and Stephanie and Jason Hall of Union Springs, AL; ten grandchildren: Avery Acton, Kenzie Acton, Hanz Hyde, Eian Hyde, Ryann McClellan, Samantha McClellan, Shelbie McClellan, Stephan Price, Tyler Hall and Kirstyn Hall; sister, Sharl Heither of Des Moines, IA; two brothers, Dave Crooks of Iowa City, IA, and Jeff Crooks of Columbus Junction, IA; additional family: Karen and J.C Whitfield of Helena, AL.
