Levi Whitaker was born August 3, 1914 died on April 2, 1955. There is a mistake in the year of birth in obit in paper.

Levi Whitaker

Levi William Whitaker Jr., 40 year old Oakville farmer, died at 9:05 a.m. Saturday in Burlington hospital, where he was a surgical patient.

Whitaker was the son of Levi and the late Bessie Whitaker and was born at Oakville on Aug. 3, 1940. He was married to Vera Bishop on Aug. 9, 1937. She survives, as do a son and a daughter, Ralph Lee and Ruth Marie Whitaker, both at home.

Also surviving are his father and step mother and six brothers and sisters: Charles, Hilbert and Alfred Whitaker, all of Oakville; Mrs. Herbert Clevenger, Rayville, Mo.; Mrs. Walter Peck, Fort Scott, Kan., and Edna Whitaker at home.

The body is at the Fry chapel in Mediapolis.
