Mrs. Wilbur Brehme Died At Conesville

Mrs. Wilbur (Cecile) Brehme of Arlington, Iowa, a former long time resident of the Conesville community, died sometime Thursday night in her sleep. She was born at Conesville and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Bullis, Conesville. Survivors are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Vern (Mary) Halverson, Springfield, Ill., a son, Jerry and nine grandchildren and also one brother Rufus Bullis of Davenport. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lyle and Maynard Bullis and one child who died in infancy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brehm were held Monday, October 25, the Garden Prairie Church near Arlington at 10 a.m. with the Delsing-Wright Funeral home in Maynard, Iowa in charge. Short services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Grace United Church of Christ in Conesville with burial in the Conesville cemetery.

Casket bearers were Ralph Crawford of Columbus Junction, Thomas Gipple, Eldred Maxwell, Forest Maxwell, Charles Shellabarger and Wayne Singleton.
