Thede Boysen Died At Mediapolis

Thede Boysen, 76, died Friday, February 17, at 1 a.m. at his home in Mediapolis, Iowa.

Born Dec. 1, 1890 in Lindholm, Germany, Mr. Boysen was the son of Carsten and Anna Boysen. He resided in Mediapolis 22 years. He was a retired farmer and salesman for Walnut Grove Seed Co. and a member of the Mediapolis Methodist church.

He married Marie Hendrickson, March 14, 1913, at Rissum Germany.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Edlef Mediapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Werner, Columbus Junction, Mrs. Irvin Diehl, Durant and Mrs. Richard Forrest of Clinton; two brothers, Ingwer and Anton and one sister, Mrs. Eliese Bahnsen, all of Germany. There are 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A daughter and a son preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Mediapolis Methodist with Rev. Eldon Haworth officiating. Burial in the Columbus City cemetery.
