Attend Funeral of Mrs. Davis in California

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Johnston of Crawfordsville left Monday July 3 to attend the funeral of Mrs. E. J. Davis of Monrovia, California. Mrs. Davis was well known in the Welsh Community and a sister in law of Eben Davis of Crawfordsville. She passed away at Memorial Huntington Hospital at Pasadena. She is survived by her husband, Edward J., a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Bruner of La Canada, two sons, Russel of Visalia, California and Paul at Monrovia, California; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Thursday, July 6 at Douglass & Zook Mortuary. Mr. and Mrs. Johnston plan to visit a couple weeks with Mr. Davis and other relatives in California
