Mrs. D.E. Davis Services

Funeral services for Mrs. D. E. Davis whose death was noted in the Gazette last week were held at 1:30 Friday, January 5, 1962 at the Columbus Junction United Presbyterian Church.

Rev. Kenneth Brown officiated Miss Donna Belle Hughes was the organist. Music was furnished by Harold Rees who sang “In the Garden” and “Going Down the Valley”. He was accompanied by Mrs. Rees.

Pallbearers were Lewis Pugh, Harlan Dallmeyer, Thomas Thomas, Edward Griffith, Hugh Williams, and Ernest Jones. Flower attendants were Mrs. Marian Cecil, Mrs. Murrel Dallmeyer and Mrs. Rosina Hawkins.

Interment was at the Cambrian Cemetery. Stacy’s Funeral Home in charge.

The Welsh Resurrection Hymn was sung at the grave.
