Towyn Davies victim of drowning accident

Funeral services were held for G. Towyn Davies, 65, Washington, July 2, 1981, at the United Church of Crawfordsville with Rev. Harlan Winter officiating.

Davies drowned while fishing near Falmbeau, Wisconsin, on June 29.

He was born October 2, 1915 in Crawfordsville to Grif and Clara Davies. On January 9, 1941 he married Pauline Hanft in Queen City, Missouri.

Davies farmed northeast of Washington.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Davies of Waterloo; and a daughter, Ms. Jo Davies of St. Paul, Minnesota.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death. Davies donated his body to the University of Iowa Medical School for research.
