A graveside service will be held Monday, Nov. 26, at 1:30 p.m. at the Wapello Cemetery.

WAPELLO, Iowa-Benjamin G. Bowdre, 66, formerly of Wapello, died Wednesday Nov. 21, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Ill.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.

The Rev. Scott Smith will officate the graveside service.

He was born May 19, 1941, at Wapello to Claude Franklin and Marian (Allen) Bowdre.

He is survived by his mother of Davenport; three brothers, Herb, Richard and John Bowdre, three sisters, LaVon Yackle, Sally Bowdre and Dorothy Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his father.
