Mrs. Grace Courtney Tisor daughter of Mrs. Aurora Courtney, was born at Kirksville, Missouri on January 16, 1909 and passed away at her late home in Little York, Ill., on February 8, 1930 at the age of 21 years and 22 days.

She was united in marriage to Alva Tisor on September 19, 1927 at Muscatine, Iowa. To this union were born two children; Ruby May, 1 year old and Gladys Marie, an infant.

Besides her husband and two little children she is survived her mother, Mrs. Aurora Courtney of Keokuk, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Lena Ashby of Oakville, Iowa, Ruby, Violet, and Edith Courtney of Davenport, Iowa; two brothers: David and Bert Courtney also of Davenport,Iowa. There are seven uncles and one aunt besides other relatives and friends who survive and mourn her passing so early in life.
