Elwyn Davidson dies in Arizona

Elwyn Davidson of Tempe, Arizona passed away Monday June 14, 1982 at Mesa Lutheran Hospital after a long illness.

He was born in Crawfordsville March 28, 1902, the son of Edwin J. and Lillian Yard Davidson. He was educated in Crawfordsville and at the University of Iowa. For a time he was associated with Davidson Hardware in Crawfordsville and later with Detroit Edison in Detroit, Michigan, until his retirement.

On December 24, 1923, he was married to Leota Adams in Olds, Iowa. She passed away July 9, 1981. He was a member of the Mesa Presbyterian Church and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George (Gloria) Thomas of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. C.C. (Hazel) Moorhead of Crawfordsville and Mrs. D.D. (Lois) Jackson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and one brother, Forrest Davidson of Omaha, Nebraska.

Davidson was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one brother, Milton A. Davidson.

Funeral and burial were held in Phoenix Wednesday, June 16.
