Mrs. Raymond Bieri Died Tuesday, November 22nd

Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Bieri, 52 years of age passed away at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday evening, November 22, 1966 at the University hospital at Iowa City. She was the daughter of Glen and Ellen Beik of Grandview and was born, September 2, 1914 in Louisa County. She was a lifetime resident of the Grandview community.

She was married to Raymond Bieri on June 3, 1932. She was a member of the Grandview Community church, a member of the Women's Organization, Missionary Society and Happy Workers Sunday School class of the church.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond; three sons, Jack, Joe and James all of the Grandview community; one brother, Harlan Beik of rural Grandview; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Murray and Mrs. Lawrence (Betty Jo) Rowe, both of rural Grandview and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services were held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Grandview Community Church with Rev. Walter Vesterfelt, pastor of the Grandview Community Church and Rev. Richard Eis, pastor of the Letts Methodist Church officiating. Music was funrished by Mrs. Richard Bieri.

Flower attendants were: Mrs. Milo Wiele, Mrs. Ralph Lowe, Mrs. Carl McGill, Mrs. Keith Beik, Mrs. Dale Schlutz, Mrs. George Michaels and Mrs. Royce Bonnichsen.

Casket bearers were: Ralph Lowe, Carl McGill, Paul Kemp, Ernst Lieberknecht; Warren Jennings and Russell Gast.

Final resting place was in the Grandview cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Stacy-Lewis funeral home of Columbus Junction.
