Leona Bishop, 90, dies

Leona I. Bishop, 90, longtime resident of Wapello and Muscatine, died Monday, March 25, 1985, at Colonial Manor, Columbus Junction.

Services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. Rev. Jay Turner officiated. Burial was in the Wapello Cemetery.

She was born July 30,1894, at Wapello, a daughter of Levi and Anna May McMahill Bishop. She had been a registered nurse.

Two nephews and a niece survive. Three sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
