Dean Bisher Missing In Action

MORNING SUN BOY IN GENERAL PATTON'S ARMY

Notification that Corporal Dean Bisher has been reported missing in action has been received here by his grandmother, Mrs. Josie Bisher. Dean was a member of General Patton's 3rd Army, and had been in action in France.

He entered the service in September, 1943 and has been over seas for several months, first in England and later taking a part in the offensive in France. Corporal Bisher's father resides in Gladstone, Illinois, but Dean has been a resident of Morning Sun since his infancy, living here with his grandmother.
