Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Morning Sun. Visitation: after noon on Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will meet friends from 6-8 p.m.

MORNING SUN, Iowa - William Edward "Bill" Boline, 61, of Morning Sun, Iowa, died Friday May 26, 2006, at the Morning Sun Care Center.

The Rev. Dan Baker will officiate. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.

The son of Carl and Betty Wasson Boline, he was born June 30, 1944, at Burlington, Iowa.

Mr. Boline married Sandra (Jones) Fread on June 29, 1996, at Morning Sun.

He attended school at Mediapolis. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for six years. He was a farmer, having worked for Glen Jennett and Mick Johnson and more recently for Jim Johnson.

He had been a member of the American Legion at Morning Sun. He enjoyed being with people, bird watching, and his cat. He liked to drive in the country to see what was happening on the farms.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra; a daughter, Terri Lee and Rick Brown of Wapello; a son, Danny and Rhonda Fread of Washington; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; four brothers, Richard Boline of Burlington, Robert Boline of Montezuma, Harold and Tracey Boline of Wapello, and Roger and Brenda Boline of Mount Union; and two sisters, Betty Marks of Grandview and Mary Boline of Burlington.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Virginia Adkison, and a brother, Danny Boline.
