Native of Wapello Dies Monday at Home in Chicago

Victor William Anderson, 1888-1952, 64 years old and a native of Wapello, died of a heart attack at his home in Chicago, Monday.

He was born Oct. 26, 1888 in Wapello, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John T. Anderson and was married to the former Edith Egner in June 1912, in Burlington. He was employed by West Burlington shops until moving to Chicago in 1926 where he worked for the Northwestern railway.

Mr. Anderson was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed church and the Moose lodge.

He is survived by his widow, a daughter and three granchildren: one brother, Edward Anderson, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Matilda Rudy and Mrs. Mary Swedenburg; also of Burlington.

Last rites will be in Burlington and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery in that city.
