Mrs. Bonnie Boulton Called By Death

Mrs. Bonnie Boulton of Mt. Union passed away at 11:25 p.m. December 1, 1969, at Henry County Memorial hospital, where she had been a patient two days. She was aged 66 years, 5 months and 25 days.

Bonnie Beatrice, the daughter of Frank and Saraha Rummerfield Hopkins, was born June 6, 1903 at Brighton, Iowa. She was a former resident of Columbus Junction and graduated from high school here. She was married July 4, 1922, in Washington, Iowa, to Frank Boulton, who passed away March 20, 1968. She had lived in Mt. Union about 20 years and was a member of the Mt. Union United Methodist Church.

Surviving are four sons, Donald and Jim, both of Burlington, Paul of Biggsville, Illinois, and Max of Clear Lake; and six daughters, Mrs. Sa__ (Elizabeth) Lott of Jerseyville, Ill., Mrs. Earl (Shirley) Fisher of Wapello, Mrs. Perl (Peggy) Dean of Morning Sun, Mrs. Les (Hilda) Sadler of Danville, Mrs. Donald (Bonnie) Krem of Fairfield and Mrs. Jim (Ann) Lowe of Burlington; 36 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. December 4 at the Mt. Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Hohl officiating.

Interment was in the Columbus City Cemetery.
