Lillie Fern Bergen, age 76, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, died January 16, 1997, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Bergen was born May 20, 1920, in Columbus Junction, Iowa, the daughter of Chester Edgington and Mary Ann Fuller. She attended schools in Columbus Junction. She married Albert Bergen, of Iowa, on December 28, 1938. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Bergen was a retired cook at the Autobon School in Tulsa. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one duaghter, Sharon Bergen of Catoosa, Oklahoma; and three sons: Jack Bergen, Grandview, Iowa; Larry Bergen of Salina, Oklahoma; and Donald Bergen of Catooosa, Oklahoma. Also surviving are eight grandchldren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a brother, Roy Edgington of Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Beatrice Lacy; Son, Jerry Bergen; and two sisters.

Funeral services were held January 20, at the Catoosa First Baptist church with Rev. Frank Evans officiating. Interment was at the Indian Creek Cemetery, Columbus Junction, Iowa on January 22, at 2:00 p.m.
