WAPELLO - Marvin Leroy Bergen, 53, a native of Wapello, died Friday, July 28, at his home in Ft. Smith, Ark.

The body has been cremated.

Graveside services at the Fairview Cemetery will be announced later.

Mr. Bergen was born Oct. 29, 1935 in Wapello, a son of Noah and Emma Evans Bergen.

He was a carpenter by trade.

Survivors include two sons, Marvin Jr. and Glenn; three daughters, Carol Fulton, Carol Heitmeier and Kim Bergen; several grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth of Springfield, Mo.; and two sisters, Virginia McKee and Mrs. Donald (Carolyn) Adams, both of Morning Sun.

His parents and one son preceded him in death.
