COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa--Michael "Mike" Dean Beaham, 47, of Columbus Junction, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at his home.

The Rev. Cathy Whitlatch of Columbus Junction United Methodist Church will officiate. Honorary bearers will be Larry Brown and Ken Kircher.

The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Beaham was born Aug. 22, 1960, in Muscatine, the son of James L. and Ruth Ann McKillip Beaham.

He married Christy Weder Dec. 31, 2004, in Letts.

He worked at West Liberty Foods and was a member of the Waterfowl Association, Foiles Pro Staff and Ducks Unlimited.

He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed playing the guitar with his nephews and listening to music. He also enjoyed playing guitar for the residents of Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Columbus Junction.

Survivors include his wife; his parents; two brothers, James L. Beaham Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Letts and Jesse E. Beaham of Kimberly, Mass.; and two nephews, Garret and Dustin Beaham of Letts.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
