Lawrence Jarrold Bausch, 50, of Odessa Residential Facility, Wapello, Iowa, died May 3, 2001, at the Great River Medical Center, West Burlington, Iowa, from complications following surgery.

Lawrence was born August 6, 1950, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Stephen and Mae Adeline Male Bausch. He loved music, singing, going to church, the state of Iowa, and working with his hands. He had worked at Cross Roads in Muscatine.

Survivors include seven brothers; Ronald (Claudette) Golden, Colorado; Douglas (Janet) Moline, IL., Lester (Fern), Columbus Junction; Stephen, Coralville; Gary (Joyce) Columbus Junction; Phillip (Faith), Winona Lake, Indiana; his twin, Jarrold Lawrence (Lindy) Jewitt City, Connecticut; and six sisters, Hope Niffenegger, (Bob) Louisvile, CO; Ruth McConnell, Sierra Vista, AZ; Joyce Johnson (Leonard) Azle, Texas; Carol Chatfield (Leonard) Columbus Junction; Marilyn Percy, Sebring, FL; and Susan Sturgis (Edward) Harrisonville, NJ. Also surviving are his step-mother Sally Bausch of Columbia Station, Ohio and two step-brothers, Dzgonald Duffy (Vicki) Hampton, IL, and Ralph Duffy (Sara) Columbia Station, Ohio. There are several nieces and enphews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funreal services were held May 7 at the Stacy- Lewis Funeral Home. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the funeral home.
