Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. E.H. Faris, 80, former resident here which occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Abrahamson in Des Moines May 9. Mr. and Mrs. Faris were residents here when Mr. Faris was proprietor of a hardware store in the building now occupied by the Morning Sun Locker. Mrs. Faris has been in failing health for the past three years since suffering a strock of paralysis. Mr. Faris died in 1939. Besides her daughter she is survived by a son, Floyd of Brighton and four grandchildren. Funeral services and burial were at Brighton.
