Peter J. Ball, 57, of Westerville, Ohio, died of cancer Friday, August 3, 1990, at his home.

Services were held Monday, August 6, at the United Methodist Church of the Messiah in Westerville, with burial also in Westerville.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Ford Ball of Westerville; sons Joseph and Frederick, Columbus, Ohio; daughter Virginia Ball Collett, Queenstown, Maryland; grandchildren, Victoria Ball, Jessica Ball, Thomas and Alexandra Collett; his father, Joseph H. Ball, Front Royal, Virginia; and two sisters, Jennifer Hulsizer, Rochester, Minnesota, and Sarah Lister, London, England.

He was preceded in death by one son and his mother.

Mr. Ball was a professional engineer who headed Ball Associates in Westerville. He was the son-in-law of Mrs. Ernest D. Ford, Columbus Junction.
