Funeral services for 46 year old Ernest C. Ames of Muscatine will be held on Saturday, November 26, 1994 at 10:30 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, Iowa. Ernest and his wife, Ann, died Friday in an automobile accident in Moberly, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday, with the famioly present from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial bill be in the Conesville Cemetery, Conesville, Iowa. A memorial has been established for their children.

Ernest Clark Ames was born September 20, 1948 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Norman and Florene Martching Ames. He married J. Ann Carney February 5, 1994 in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Ernest was a Navy Veteran. He was employed by Columbus Junction IBP plant.

Survivors include a son, Matthew Ames, at home, a daughter Jennifer Ames, Wydman, Arkansas, a step-daughter, Meaghan Carney at home, and a granddaughter. Also surviving is a brother, Allen Ames, Ottumwa, and a sister, Mrs. Claude "Bill" (Sally) White, Columbus Junction, Iowa. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents.
