Last rites for 41 year old Mrs. Muriel Belzora Westfall who died Friday morning in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, wiull be held at the Dudgeon Funeral Home at 2:30 Sunday afternoon.

The Rev. Floyd L. Shepherd, pastor of the Wapello Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery.

The former Muriel Thornton, daughter of Harry Brooks and Margaret Ellen O'Dell Thornton, Mrs. Westfall was born in the Oakville community on July 9, 1914. She was graduated from the Oakville High School in 1933. For several years she was employed at the State Bank of Wapello; later she was employed at a bank in Quincy, Ill.

Surviving are her parents, now residents of Wapello; two sons and a daughter; Eldon, John William and Dee Ann Westfall, and five brothers; Harold Thornton, Mt. Pulaski, Ill.; Brooks Thornton, Sarasota Springs, Fla, Kenneth Thornton, Chicago, and Dean and Harry Thornton both of Wapello.
